In person training is always best in my opinion, but the reality is, many people don’t have time to travel to a class. Or perhaps, they just don’t live near anywhere offering classes. In today’s digital age there has been a boom in remote training which, as opposed to a webinar is one on one personal training via the internet.
Here are the benefits of remote training:
No Geographical Limitations You can be sitting on a beach and take part in a training session, you could live in South Africa and train with me remotely in Toronto. The world is literally your remote training oyster.
Bad Weather? I live in Toronto where wintery weather can shut all travel plans down. Snowstorms pose no problem if you don’t have to go out and drive in them though!
Flexible Hours Prefer to do your training in the evening or weekend instead of during office hours? Or can’t take the day off work to attend a session? Maybe you live in a completely different time zone. I can accommodate all of that with remote training.
Customized Just for You! Training is customized to your requirements – if required I can log in to your system during our phone meeting to see what training requirements are required. Training is also done using your own software and information – there is no need to re-enter anything learnt once training session completed.
You Show Me Where You Need Help You have control of the screen during the training session – I jump in if assistance is required.
Cost Saving You want to send your employees for training but sometimes this can involve time off, transportation costs and even airfare and accommodation. Bringing the best trainer to you digitally, is a no-brainer when it comes to saving money.
Face-to-face training has many clear advantages – but depending on your location and schedule, remote training might be the better option!
