How do I create a statement in QuickBooks Online?

There are a couple of different ways to create statements in QBO.  Please follow the steps below.

 

*CLICK ON IMAGES TO VIEW FULL SIZE*

Option 1:

1. From the left navigation bar click on Sales.

2. Click on Customers.

3. Select the customer you want to create statement for.

4. From the Action column drop-down, choose Create Statement.

Option 2 – If your customer does NOT have any overdue or open Invoices:

1. Click on the + sign (top right side).

2. Under Other – click Statement.

3. Under Recipients List – click the check mark by Recipients to uncheck the customer list.

4. Select the customer you want to create statement for.

5. Click Print or Preview to preview the statement.

How do I create a statement in QuickBooks?

1. On the menu bar – click on Customers.

2. From the drop down list –  click Create Statements.

Or

From the Home page – click Statements.

3. In the Select Statement Options section select Statement Date; Statement Period From or All open transactions as of Statement Date.

4. Under the Select Customers section, select One Customer.

5. Click the drop-down arrow and select customer.

6.  Preview statement before emailing to client.

Thanks for your question.  You can customize the reports to display the SKU number.

1.  Click Reports in the left navigation bar.

2. In the Search field type sales.

3. From the drop down list click on Sales by Product/Service Detail.

4. Click the Customize button.

5. Click Rows/Columns.

6. Click the Group by drop-down menu.

7.  Select SKU.

8. Click Run report.
